Principal's Message
Hello Teston Village PS families,
We had a great time with school spirit, celebration, and winter fun. Our Winter Spirit Week brought smiles and energy into the building, with students and staff participating in daily challenges and themed days, including Red and White Day and a cozy Warm and Fuzzy PJ Day. We had a chance to take a fair number of pictures for our yearbook-in-the-making and see our community come together in such a positive way.
Many classes watched the hockey games this week and cheered on our Canadian Olympians. The hockey games were intense and a great show of Canadian pride and support for the athletes in Italy!
Although the inclement weather brought additional snow, rain, and ice, we were grateful for stretches of warmer temperatures and sunshine that helped brighten our days. The fresh snow created opportunities for active outdoor play, and the sunshine reminded us that winter still brings moments to smile about.
Parking Lot Safety Reminders
Thank you to the many families who continue to follow our parking lot procedures. As we work together to keep students safe, we would like to highlight a few additional reminders:
Check your blind spot carefully when exiting the Kiss and Ride lane. Students and families may be walking behind your vehicle.
Do not park near the garbage bins. This area must remain clear for maintenance access and safe traffic flow.
Use the marked crosswalks in the parking lot and avoid walking between parked cars. Walking between vehicles limits visibility for drivers and creates unsafe conditions.
Student safety remains our top priority. We appreciate your cooperation in making thoughtful and responsible choices when driving or walking on school property.
Sincerely,
Ms. S. Mediratta
