Principal's Message
Hello Teston Village PS families,
I cannot believe that it is already February! Is anyone else ready for the winter to be done? February is a short and starts off with Groundhog Day on Monday, February 2nd and the big question is “will he see his shadow?” According to folklore, if the groundhog sees its shadow on February 2nd, it will return to its burrow, indicating that there will be six more weeks of winter. If it does not see its shadow, then spring is on the way. What do you predict will happen?
Comings and Going at Teston Village.
Around this time of year, we often receive teacher candidates from the faculties of education who fulfill their field placement working alongside some of our teachers and support staff. We welcome them to Teston Village.
We would also like to thank Ms. Vyas who has been in our community class for the last year and a half and is moving on to new opportunities. Thank you for your knowledge, patience, and professionalism that you demonstrated during your time at Teston Village. Ms. Celebre who was away on maternity leave, returns to us starting on Tuesday of next week.

Movie Night was a success!
Thank you to the School Council for hosting a wonderful evening for Teston families. Despite the extremely cold weather, we had such a wonderful turn out of of children and their parents. The popcorn was bagged early, the dinner was warm and delicious, and the concession stand was really popular! The blankets on the floor made for a comfy and cozy seat to enjoy the show. Thank you to the volunteers from the staff and community who came together to make the event so successful. We look forward to future movie nights next year.
